An additional two individuals have been arrested related to a robbery at London's Heathrow Airport in which 21 people sustained injuries by a substance believed to be pepper spray, as stated by law enforcement.

A 24-year-old man, was arrested in Lambeth on suspicion of robbery and assault and a 23-year-old woman was arrested for suspected conspiring to commit a robbery. Both individuals are still being held, the force said.

The arrests come after an investigation into an assault at the multi-level parking garage at Terminal 3 on Sunday. Before the attack, two women had stolen from them their luggage upon exiting a parking garage elevator.

A toddler aged three was one of the injured in the event. A total of five individuals went to hospital for treatment and were later discharged.

Officers arrested a man in his thirties on suspicion of robbery and assault near the location. He was subsequently released under investigation while inquiries continue.

Authorities were alerted at about 08:10 GMT after reports came in regarding several people injured by an irritating chemical thought to be an irritant spray.

The attack - which police said was isolated and not being treated as terrorism - caused delays to rail services and the temporary shutdown of the Central Terminal Area tunnel and the T3 parking facility briefly.
